MESSAGE FROM THE CONVENOR

I am thrilled to welcome you to the 7th Marian Conference here at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Brentwood! For the past years, grace abounds as we gather hundreds of Marian devotees from many parishes and Dioceses in the Greater Bay Area; and with Mary, desire to continue to journey with each other towards a fuller appreciation of the presence of the Lord in our lives. Providentially this year, our theme “With Mary, We Praise God in All Creation” reflects the sublime truth about the role of the Blessed Mother in leading us always to God, in gratitude for the gift of all creation, and how we are all called to be faithful stewards of these gifts. This year, we have invited esteemed speakers in the field of Mariology and Theology from the International Marian Research Institute at the University of Dayton in Ohio and the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago to journey with us, along with our very own Bishop Michael Barber, SJ. Always scheduled in the second full weekend of October each year, the Marian Conference is a gift, and thank you for your continued support and prayers! Yours in prayers, Father Quang Dong
